Well Kardra,

You've told me many times before: You have no need for money. The Dyson Sphere would be worthless to you.

If correctly done, this being (Do a major part in capturing the area, attack all three silos, capture all three silos) the Dyson Sphere can be very profitable.

Roughly one (lucky) go will get 5,000 Dilithium. You can use Voth Cybernetic pieces to get another one or two thousand, and use Dyson Sphere marks (500 dil for 50 marks) and roughly get to that.

It is 'worth it' if (A: You're looking for dilithium/zen and (B: it's done correctly.

Otherwise Kar's right.

You just have to do it right and then it'll work out.

Ok, so im reading this with my backlight out, here at the Dripping Springs Library.
I dont think that the Dyson Sphere matters. I mean, i have not been on STO much recently (And i wont be able to untill i get this screen fixed) but whats the point of Dil any more? It will make us like the sith (But it wont turn us agaist eachother maybe) But it is gonna get us to try to get more dil and EC to upgrade weaponry, to best eachother.

Also notice that Dilithum crystals are used in Warp Drives.. Why is it a form of currency in STO anyways????

If you think about it, dilithium could very well be currency. It is a necessity to warp drives, and as such it can be sold for rather large sums of money, making it a valuable bargaining item AKA currency.

Well dude, it's an MMO. They have to have some form of buying things, or a form of currency, and a way for the Game-creators to make ACTUAL money, so yeah, CURRENCIES

EC, Dilithium, Zen, and Lobi. And the Marks count somewhat, although they're more a trade than actual currency but yeah... roughly four.

It's an MMO. It's just merely based off of Star Trek. They do stuff in that game similar to ST, all the while having the ways of a MMO behind it and sometimes showing.
